I purchased this ring for my daughters 16th birthday. The ring came within in record time, which was wonderful. Unfortunately, the ring was not as wonderful. The setting is very pretty, but the opal was disappointing. It was a sliver of an opal and was not the white, iridesent kind we were hoping for. It was overall very blue and I guess is an Australian opal and not much white. The stone was also loose. So within one month, a prong fell off, the stone was lost and I had to have the ring repaired and put a new, more beautiful opal in the ring, with a new prong.
