I was hesitant to purchase an engagement ring online, but now that I have, I'm glad I went this route. The ring arrived a day before expected in very protective packaging. It came in a polished wood box with a leather interior, which was very attractive (and my fiancee still uses it to hold the ring when she has to take it off). There is no certification or appraisal certificate, which I was upset about, but the diamond itself is well cut (it reflects light wonderfully), and whoever cut the stone definitely didn't sacrifice quality in favor of size. The color is a little more "yellow" than I expected, but against the white and on a finger, it's not noticeable. The gold is good, and there are no problems with tarnishing or lost finish.
